Total Rewards Intern

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Total Rewards Intern for our Summer 2026 Internship Program. The Total Rewards Intern will be part of the Total Rewards team and will support projects related to compensation, HRIS, benefits, and wellness.

U.S. Venture’s Internship Program runs May - August. Dates may vary based on individual class schedules. This position is located in Appleton, WI and will start at 425 Better Way, Appleton, WI 54915. We are excited to be transitioning to our new corporate headquarters during this internship timeframe and this position will eventually be located at 222 W College Avenue, Appleton, WI 54911.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with updating job descriptions, market evaluations and job profile creation 
  • Assist with recognition programs 
  • Audit and validate team member data 
  • Assist in updating and creating Total Rewards communications and policy revisions 
  • Assist with coordination of wellness, vendors, and health fairs/events 
  • Participate in various Total Rewards projects  

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Compensation, or related field 
  • Junior or Senior status preferred
  • Organized and accurate in their work 
  • Ability to recognize opportunities for new, creative, and innovative solutions 
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication, including proper use of English, grammar and punctuation in business correspondence 
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while producing excellent work results 
  • Ability to professionally network with peers and team members
