Job Title: Marketing & Behavioral Insights Intern (OneHermes US Launch)

# of Openings: 2

Hours/Week:  10–15 hours/week (Flexible)

Wage/Salary: Outcome-based

Employment Start Date: Flexible.

Who We Are

At OneHermes, we believe Small and Medium businesses are underserved by SaaS & Consulting businesses. We have built a unified platform, OneHermes, and offer services to SMBs. We started our journey in Germany. We have some early success in the US. Before going big, we want to evaluate the US market and prepare for the launch of our Product, OneHermes. In Germany, it is sold by AkshyaIT.com. In the US, it will be sold by RAISUSA.com.

RAIS USA is also launching a new service for the Healthcare industry to provide competent staff, including registered nurses, PTs, and dental hygienists.

Job Overview:

We are seeking sharp, curious minds from the UW-Madison Psychology and Marketing departments to join our "Human Psychology Team." This isn't a "get coffee" internship; you will be at the forefront of our US market-entry strategy, applying psychological principles to assess demand, analyze competitors, and craft messages that drive genuine engagement.

Job Description and Qualifications

As a Behavioral Marketing Intern, you will participate in the "Science of Growth." Your typical responsibilities include:

  • The Competitor Deep Dive: Analyze US competitors not just by features, but by their psychological "hooks." What fears or aspirations are they tapping into, and how can OneHermes offer a better cognitive fit?
  • The Content Laboratory: Draft high-impact marketing collateral—including brochures, LinkedIn posts, and Instagram video scripts—using behavioral triggers like Social Proof, Scarcity, and Reciprocity.
  • The A/B Feedback Loop: Conduct "Discovery Calls" to perform real-world A/B testing. You will test different psychological angles with prospective clients to gather data on what truly drives traction.
  • Market Mapping: Assist in assessing the overall demand for OneHermes in the US market through primary research and data analysis.

We might be a great match if:

You are fascinated by why people click "Buy" and want to apply your classroom knowledge to a high-stakes business environment.

You enjoy the "thrill of the experiment" and aren't afraid to hop on a call to test a hypothesis.

You are a creative storyteller who can translate complex SaaS features into relatable, human-centric content.

You want a seat at the table with the founding team to influence a global product’s strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Current Student: Ideally a Junior or Senior at UW-Madison majoring in Psychology, Marketing, or Communication Arts
  • Psychological Insight: Strong understanding of cognitive biases and consumer behavior.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional writing skills for social media and professional brochures
  • Resilience: A "Researcher" mindset toward cold calling—viewing it as data collection and A/B testing rather than just sales.
  • Tech Savvy: Ability to quickly learn SaaS tools and digital marketing platforms

Benefits:

  • Portfolio Gold: Real-world experience drafting a US go-to-market strategy.
  • Professional Development: Mentorship directly from leadership and on-demand training opportunities
  • Flexibility: A schedule designed to respect your "Terrace time" and academic deadlines.

How to Apply:
