Graphic Design & Production Assistant

Printing Nest is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graphic Design & Production Assistant to support our growing commercial printing and marketing operations.

This hybrid role combines creative design responsibilities with hands-on production and light administrative support. Students will gain real-world experience preparing print-ready artwork and assisting with commercial printing equipment, finishing, and installation support.

This is an ideal opportunity for students pursuing Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related creative fields who want practical industry experience beyond classroom projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and prepare print-ready files using Adobe Illustrator (required)
• Set up files with proper bleeds, outlines, and formatting
• Assist with large-format printing, cutting, laminating, and finishing
• Help organize and manage active production jobs
• Support light administrative tasks
• Occasional local deliveries or supply pickups
• Assist with installations when needed

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (mandatory)
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license
• Access to a reliable vehicle
• Dependable, organized, and punctual
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Applicants without Illustrator experience will not be considered.
