Congressional Intern - Summer 2026
Description
Congresswoman Sara Jacobs offers internships in her San Diego, CA district office. This internship provides an opportunity for college students and recent graduates to learn more about the day-to-day operations of a congressional office and the legislative process.
Internships last approximately three to four months and are designed to be educational experiences. Selected interns will work closely with congressional staff from a variety of backgrounds and gain exposure to a wide range of public policy issues and constituent interactions. Interns will also have the opportunity to meet constituents from diverse organizations and communities, develop professional communication skills, and assist in responding to general inquiries.
Selected interns are compensated at $17.75 per hour and may receive academic credit through their academic institution, where applicable.
