Branding Assistant

Location: H2 Global Solutions:  Goddard, Kansas

Type: Part-time / Super flexible

Vibe: You report directly to our Chief Operating Officer and run with tasks with basically zero micromanaging. Own it, make it look great, and keep things moving.

Hours/Pay Rate: ~ 15 – 20 hours /week; Summer Position*, $ 20.00 - $ 30.00/hour

Ideal Candidate:

A sharp, tech-savvy person to be the right-hand helper for our Chief Operating Officer. Your main gig: jump on whatever document or marketing material needs quick branding love, plus turning web-sourced info into sales-ready stuff our team can actually use.

Day-to-day, you'll be the one the COO turns to for:

  • Creating and updating all kinds of documents — proposals, reports, internal memos, whatever pops up — and slapping on our branding (logos, exact colors, fonts, layouts) so everything looks consistent and professional in a flash.
  • Rebranding marketing materials fast: catalogs, brochures, flyers, sell sheets, pitch decks, email templates — take existing files (or build new ones) and make sure they scream "us" with our logos, color palette, and style rules.
  • Pulling info from the web (AI tools, research, competitor sites, industry stats) and organizing it into usable formats for sales — think clean slides, one-pagers, cheat sheets, battle cards, or quick summaries that help close deals.
  • Handling random "hey, can you brand this?" requests that come up daily — from event handouts to website tweaks to new collateral ideas.
  • Occasionally refreshing website bits (text updates, images, simple layout changes) to keep things current.
  • Bringing fresh, cutting-edge ideas — "What if we tried this modern layout?" or "AI can speed this up like this" — we love proactive suggestions that make us sharper.

You love working solo: figure it out, deliver polished work quickly, update when needed, but don't need constant check-ins. If something's unclear, you ask smart questions and keep rolling.

Must-Haves (these matter most)

  • Total Mac comfort — you live in macOS and fly through it.
  • Solid with design/document tools on Mac: Canva Pro, Keynote, Pages — you can edit layouts, swap branding elements, and make things look clean and pro fast.
  • Super independent — thrive with minimal oversight, prioritize on your own, and get stuff done reliably.
  • Quick at researching and turning scattered web info into organized, sales-useful docs utilizing AI.
  • Good eye for design — you spot off-brand stuff and fix it naturally.

Nice-to-Haves (experience isn't required – show us you can do it!)

  • Any hands-on with branding docs, marketing materials, catalogs, or sales support (school projects, personal stuff, internships, side hustles – all count!).
  • Comfort with site builders (WordPress, Squarespace, etc.) for light updates.
  • Bonus points for being ahead on AI tools or design trends.

What you get

  • Flexible schedule — work around classes, life, whatever.
  • Direct impact — your work helps the COO stay organized, makes our brand look sharp, and gives sales what they need to win.
  • Freedom to experiment and pitch cool ideas.
  • Solid pay for the independence and quality you bring.
  • All the Mac-friendly tools/software you need.

If this sounds like your kind of gig — jump in, own branding tasks for the COO, and make our materials pop with very little direction — let's talk!

Send over a quick note about why you're excited, your resume (or just relevant skills/experience), and 1–2 examples of docs you've branded, re-designed, or turned research into something useful (screenshots, PDFs, links – even from class or personal projects is helpful).

*Open to possibly extending or offering permanent position, depending on company needs and candidates qualifications.
