Our boutique advertising agency, located in Lexington, Kentucky—the heart of the Thoroughbred industry—is seeking creative, experienced, and driven designers to join our in-house team.

Founded in 2010, Studio 34 Productions is a specialized advertising agency dedicated to serving Kentucky’s signature industry: Thoroughbred horse racing, breeding, and sales. Our distinguished clientele includes some of the most iconic horse farms and premier sales companies globally. We pride ourselves on creating high-quality, impactful design work that respects the heritage and prestige of this world-class industry.
The Role
We are looking for Full-Time Graphic Designers. This is an in-house position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing high-quality visual designs across a variety of media.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative concepts for branding, marketing campaigns, print and digital content.
- Design engaging logos, brochures, catalog covers, social media graphics, web banners, event signage, and other visual assets that align with brand identity and marketing objectives.
- Implement photo manipulation, photo editing, and color management to ensure high-quality visuals across all projects.
- Collaborating effectively with the internal team, clients and vendors.
- Maintain consistency in typography, color theory, layout design, and visual style to strengthen brand recognition.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Two (2) or more years of experience in advertising layout and design.
- High proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator required).
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and print production processes.
- Excellent time management skills and a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- A positive, enthusiastic, and collaborative team-player attitude.
- Willingness to receive and integrate constructive feedback into design iterations.
Location & Logistics
- Local Candidates Only: Must currently reside near Lexington, KY or willing to commute. This is a strict requirement.
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Knowledge or previous exposure to the Thoroughbred horse racing, breeding, or sales industry is a significant plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

- Web/app design and CSS/HTML familiarity
- Photography, videography/motion graphics
- Copywriting and Research
- Social media marketing
- A forward-thinking approach to design, with an interest in emerging creative technologies and the ability to leverage A.I.
