Junior Account Executive

Junior Account Executive

KennedyC is seeking a Junior Account Executive to join our talented, hard-working, and passionate Account Services Team in Madison, WI. The Account Services Team serves as the primary link between the agency and client accounts, and the Junior Account Executive will support account leads while managing day-to-day client relationships and campaign execution. Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Client Support & Communication
  2. Manages their own client relationships while supporting senior account leads in maintaining strong client partnerships through day-to-day communication and collaboration 
  3. Contributes to overall client satisfaction by responding promptly to client questions and requests, escalating when appropriate 
  4. Effectively present agency strategy, proposals and performance updates to clients
  5. Client travel as needed

 

  1. Strategic Planning & Account Management
    1. Assists in the development of annual strategic marketing plans, inclusive of budgets, insights and recommended tactics
    2. Collaborates with internal departments to build integrated plans and creative briefs that align with client goals
    3. Builds foundational knowledge of client brands, industries, competitors and market trends to inform recommendations

 

  1. Team Collaboration
    1. Per the client’s strategic advertising plan, collaborates with each department to support campaign execution for on-time completion, securing client approvals as needed
    2. Partners with senior account leads and project coordinators to initiate client-related internal meetings, including strategic planning brainstorms and interdepartmental meetings for assigned clients
    3. Builds relationships with agency team members to support seamless campaign execution and high-quality work

 Skill Requirements:

  • 0-3 years of account service experience
  • Agency experience preferred
  • Strong presenter and clear, effective communicator
  • Self-motivated with a team-oriented mindset
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Familiarity with both traditional and digital marketing tools and platforms
