Graphic Design Intern

Transit Technologies Internship Program (6 Months)

Interns will work alongside cross-functional teams and contribute to real-world projects with potential for full-time conversion based on performance. 

 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Design Intern to join our Marketing team. In this role, you will play an active part in shaping how Transit Technologies presents itself to clients, partners, and the market. From polished sales enablement assets to branded social graphics, you will help bring our brands to life across multiple channels. This is a great opportunity for an emerging designer to build a professional portfolio while working on meaningful, high-visibility projects. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Design and format case studies that highlight customer success stories, ensuring visual consistency and brand alignment 

Develop sales enablement materials that communicate complex information in a clear, compelling way 

Create social media graphics for use across LinkedIn, X, and other platforms, tailored to each channel's specifications and audience 

Produce email headers and email designs (HubSpot) in collaboration with the marketing team, optimizing layouts for readability and engagement 

Support event branding efforts by designing signage, digital banners, presentation decks, and promotional materials for trade shows, webinars, and company events 

Build and maintain design templates in InDesign, Canva and potentially Figma to support scalable, on-brand content production 

Prepare and optimize files using Adobe Acrobat for distribution, print, and accessibility 

Work closely with marketing, content, and product teams to understand project goals and deliver designs on deadline 

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field 

Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat 

Strong foundational understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy 

Ability to follow and apply brand guidelines consistently across different asset types 

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment 

Effective communicator who can receive and incorporate feedback constructively 

A portfolio demonstrating design work (school projects, freelance, or personal work accepted) 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

Familiarity with print and digital design best practices and knowledge of graphic design vocabulary 

Experience creating or adapting assets for social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, etc.) 

Basic understanding of print production and file preparation standards 

Exposure to project management or collaboration tools such as Monday and Microsoft Teams 

A keen eye for current design trends. including AI-assisted design tools such as Adobe Firefly or Midjourney, and the ability to apply them appropriately within brand constraints

INTERNSHIPS OVERVIEW 

RFP (Proposals) Intern 

Support development of high-quality RFP and proposal responses 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather accurate content 

Assist in maintaining proposal libraries and templates 

Conduct research on clients, competitors, and industry trends 

Develop strong attention to detail and project coordination skills 

Event Marketing Intern 

Assist in planning and executing virtual and in-person events 

Coordinate logistics, vendors, and promotional materials 

Support campaign execution tied to events (email, landing pages, webinars) 

Track and analyze event performance metrics 

Collaborate with marketing and sales teams 

Graphic Design Intern 

Design marketing assets for campaigns, events, and digital channels 

Ensure brand consistency across all visuals 

Collaborate with product and marketing teams on creative concepts 

Revise and iterate designs based on feedback 

Work with tools like Adobe Creative Suite 

Product Marketing Intern 

Support go-to-market execution, product launches, and messaging development 

Assist in creating sales enablement materials (pitch decks, one-pagers) 

Translate product features into customer-facing value propositions 

Conduct market and competitive research 

Contribute to campaign execution and content creation 

Revenue Marketing Intern 

Support demand generation campaigns across multiple channels 

Assist with CRM and marketing automation tools 

Analyze campaign performance and generate insights 

Collaborate with sales and marketing to improve funnel performance 

Help optimize lead generation and conversion strategies 

Qualifications 

Pursuing or recently completed degree in relevant field
