Employment Opportunity: Campaign Manager

Location: Greater Seattle Area

Compensation: $25-$29/hour

Hours: Part-time, often weekends and evenings.

Duration:  Through November 2026

Job Description:  

Seeking a highly motivated, committed, and teamwork-oriented campaign manager for a competitive State Senate campaign. The Campaign Manager will be responsible for working with a team to execute a winning campaign program and managing all field operations of the campaign across the designated legislative district. 

You will thrive in this position if: you are self-motivated, an active communicator willing to lead, a creative thinker, skilled at mastering new technology, and comfortable engaging strangers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a robust field program that includes traditional forms of direct voter contact such as canvassing (doorbelling), phone-banking, text-banking, and volunteer recruitment and retention. The Campaign Manager will recruit a team of volunteers and participate in direct voter contact efforts.
  • Execute a winning campaign plan, including coordinating outreach and relationships with partner campaigns, working with a team of consultants to implement paid voter contact plans, and other duties as assigned.
  • Community outreach, organizing volunteers for community events, and attending events as a campaign surrogate, staffing candidate at events.

Qualifications: 

  • Previous campaign experience is useful but not required. Familiarity with state legislative campaigns and districts is a bonus.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable participating in voter contact, including canvassing and phone-banking.
  • Ability to work in a high-stress environment, under tight campaign deadlines.
  • Capacity to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle.
