Summer 2027 Site Reliability Engineering Intern
About the Role
As a Site Reliability Engineering Intern, you will learn the core principles and fundamentals of Information Technology within Kohl’s and contribute to key work to drive business outcomes and deliverables forward.
What You’ll Do
- Leverage critical thinking, experimentation and data to identify and capture stakeholder requirements, build use cases and achieve desired business outcomes
- Understand and contribute to requirement specification documents
- Research and leverage industry best practices
- Demonstrate a passion for learning and experimenting with new technologies
- Participate in brainstorming as part of a balanced team(s)
- Additional tasks may be assigned
- Follow software lifecycle, driving reliability, observability, and efficiency across product teams within your domain
- Identify repeated toil and find opportunities for automation
- Shadow a rotation and learn about responding to production incidents and assist with blameless retros and root-cause analysis (RCAs) to drive a culture of continuous improvements
- Perform analyses of internal and external data to surface major trends and insights
- Design high-quality production products that teams across the enterprise can depend on to run their business
