Content Producer Intern
Title: Product & Brand Design Intern — AI Startup (Paid, Hybrid, Pembroke Pines)
Job type: Internship · Part-time · $22–25/hr · Hybrid, Pembroke Pines Office/Remote (when approved)
Who are we:
Alocity is a growing team building AI software for the Physical Security Industry. We're over 4 years in operation, and recently closed a Series A seed round to fund our growth, and scale.
Here's the honest situation: our product works, and we want to make a lot of noise about what makes us special through content.
What you'd actually do
You'd own design across two surfaces. You'll shape how we show up everywhere else: website, pitch and sales decks, social and ad creative, conference materials. You wil have access to the latest AI models to complete your assignments, Claude is our preferred, but not limited.
This is not a "resize these banners" internship. You'd be one of two content designers here. Your work goes in front of customers within days, and you'll be in the room when we decide what to build.
What we're looking for
- A portfolio — coursework, freelance, passion projects, all fine. We care whether you can make a screen that a stranger understands.
- Working fluency in Figma. Adobe CC, motion, or 3D is a bonus, not a requirement.
- Comfort being early. Some days there's no brief, just a problem.
- Curiosity about AI. You don't need to have used it professionally. You do need to find it interesting, because you'll be designing interfaces for things that didn't exist two years ago.
What you get
$22–25/hr, [15–20] hours a week, hybrid with 2-3 days in our Pembroke Pines HQ office. Direct mentorship from Head of Marketing — not a rotating buddy program. Real portfolio pieces with your name on them and permission to show them. And a serious look at converting to part-time or full-time after the internship, which is how we'd prefer this to end.
Open to students at any South Florida school, all class years. We sponsor CPT paperwork for F-1 students.
To apply: Resume plus a portfolio link (required — Behance, Dribbble, Notion, PDF, personal site, whatever you've got). No cover letter needed. Instead, tell us in two sentences about one design you admire and why.
Applications close Oct 5.
